Pretty much any travel to the region is going to go through Kunming, and though most visitors - whether they are slow travelers or tourists on vacation - are probably in Yunnan for amazing old towns, epic landscapes and local culture, Kunming shouldn’t be overlooked. For each Chinese ethnic minority that inhabits the region, this park has a “village” that showcases their historical culture, food, architecture customs, clothing and people.
